FASEP project to electrify a school on Easter Island
Mobil-grid® and Solar Hybrid Box® to electrify a school on Easter Island
Rapa Nui, Chile
Rural electrification

A bold and visionary idea: installing the first mobile solar power plant on Easter Island.

Two solar containers were deployed at the Aldea Educativa school to provide continuous power for over 400 students: IT equipment, the cafeteria, lighting, drinking water, and more.

Funded with €900,000 via the FASEP scheme, the project led by ECOSUN Innovations enabled the development of a mobile, standardized solar solution perfectly suited to remote areas and the logistical constraints of Rapa Nui.

On May 22, we inaugurated our autonomous solar field at Aldea Educativa, alongside the French Ambassador, the Economic Department, and several committed French companies.

A highlight blending tradition, culture and innovation, at the heart of a unique region.

A big thank you to the local council, the Rapa Nui people and SASIPA for their vital contribution to the realisation of this project.
